Join Jack & Jill, Little Miss Muffet, Mary and her Lamb, and Tom Tom the Piper's Son as they successfully battle their evil uncle, Silas Barnaby, for the future of Mother Goose Land.
The Savoyards’ new version of Victor Herbert's 1903 operetta includes the songs "Toyland," "I Can't Do the Sum," and "The March of the Wooden Soldiers." Written in the same year as the perennial favorite The Wizard of Oz, BABES IN TOYLAND charms adults as well as children.
An early critic wrote, "The songs, the dances, the processions ...! Think of them all, set in the midst of really amazing scenery, ingenious and brilliant, with costumes rich and dazzling …, and all accompanied with music a hundred times better than is customary in shows of this sort."
Come enjoy BABES IN TOYLAND and bring new unwrapped toys to delight the children who will receive them through Toys for Tots and Bright Beginnings.
